was going to run me ~$2300 and the rest of the engine (and turbos) would still have a 1/4 million miles of wear...although it was a stout motor when the head gave away!
So I'm probably going with a JDM replacement (~$2k plus labor) and I'kk keep (work up) the original motor as time permits.
I'm thinking of a very reliable 500 crank HP...I already had 343 (dyno sheet) at the rear wheels (~400 crank HP).
